The STEL-2410 is designed as a dual high speed accumulator / correlator circuit which can be used in many data communications applications. The dual circuits, which are completely independent, can be used to correlate dual streams such as QPSK demodulated data.
STEL-2410 has many features. The first one is up to 70MHz accumulate rate. The second one is dual accumulators for quadrature signal applications. The third one is up to 32768 cycles without overflow between dumps. The fourth one is accumulator lacth and hold registers with selectable 8-bit output fields for easy interfacing. The fifth one is saturate on overflow capability. The sixth one is two's complement or offset two's complement signal inputs. The seventh one is 68-pin plastic PGA package. That are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of STEL-2410 have been concluded into several points as follow. The first one is about its storage temperature range which would be from -40°C to +125°C for plastic package and would be from -65°C to 150°C for ceramic package. The second one is about its supply voltage on Vdd which would be from -0.3V to +7V. The third one is about its input voltage which would be from input voltage which would be from -0.3V to Vdd+0.3V. The fourth one is about its DC input current which would be +/-10mA. It should be noted that stresses greater than those shown below may cause permanent damage to the device.
Also some DC characteristics about STEL-2410. The first one is about its supply current, quiescent which would be max 1.0mA. The second one is about its supply current, operational which would be max 2.0mA/MHz. The third one is about its high level input voltage which would be min 2.0V for standard operating conditions and would be min 2.25V for extended operating conditions.
