Description

The SCI7654 is a kind of high-efficiency low-power consumption charge pump-style DC/DC converter and voltage regulator with a CMOS process. The converter can generator an output voltage of 4 times (or 3 times or 2 times) the input voltage in the negative direction using 4 (or 3 or 2) external capacitors. The outputs of the device can be powered down by an external signal, thereby reducing wasted power during tempeorary system shutdowns, making it ideal power source for battery-operated portable devices and LCD panels.

There are some features of SCI7654 as follows: (1)DC converter (negative-direction 4*/3*/2*); (2)equipped with a voltage regulator (voltage-regulated output circuit); (3)high voltage conversion efficiency: 95%; (4)low consumption current: 150A (VIN=-5.0 V when using 4* voltage step-up); (5)internal reference voltage for high-precision regulator: -1.5±0.05 V (when CTO); (6)regulator output voltage temperature gradient function: -0.04, -0.15, -0.35, -0.55 (%/); (7)low standby current (when power is off); (8)external-signal power-function; (9)oscillator function is completely internal; (10)high-multiplier voltage step-up and regulation also possible through series connections and additional components.

The following is about the absolute maximum ratings of SCI7654 : (1)input power supply voltage, VIN: -26.0/N to VDD+0.3 V when N=step-up voltage multiplier VIN terminal; (2)VI, input terminal voltage, VI: VIN-0.3 to VDD+0.3 V at POFF1, POFF2, TC1, TC2, FC terminals; (3)input current, IIN: 80 mA at VIN terminal; (4)allowable dissipation, Pd: 210 mW; (5)operating temperature, TOPR: -30 to 85; (6)storage temperature, TSTG: -55 to +150; (7)soldering temperature, 10 sec, TSOL: 260.
