The SBS005 is designed as one kind of schottky barrier diodes which is 30V, 1A rectifier. Typical applications is high frequency rectification (switching regulators, converters, choppers).
SBS005 has two features. (1)Low forward voltage (If=0.5A, Vf max=0.4V)(If=1A, Vf max=0.47V). (2)Ultrasmall-size package, permitting SBS005 applied aets to be compact and slim. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of SBS005 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its repetitie peak reverse voltage would be 30V. (2)Its nonrepetitive peak reverse surge voltage would be 30V. (3)Its average output current would be 1A. (4)Its surge forward current would be 10A with conditions of 50Hz sine wave, 1 cycle. (5)Its junction temperature range would be from -55°C to 125°C. (6)Its storage temperature range would be from -55°C to 125°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics of SBS005 are concluded as follow. (1)Its reverse voltage would be min 30V with conditions of Ir=1mA. (2)Its forward voltage would be typ 0.35V and max 0.4V with conditions of If=0.5A and would be typ 0.42V and max 0.47V with conditions of If=1A. (3)Its reverse current would be max 500uA with conditions of Vr=15V. (4)Its interterminal capacitance would be typ 35pF with conditions of Vr=10V, f=1MHz. (5)Its reverse recovery time would be max 15ns with conditions of If=Ir=100mA. (6)Its thermal resistance would be typ 110°C/W with conditions of mounted on a ceramic board (600mm2x0.8mm). And so on.
