The SAA5252 (LITOD) is a single-chip CMOS device, which will acquire, decode and display Line 21 Closed Captioning data from a 525-line composite video signal. Operation as an On-Screen Display (OSD) SAA5252 is also possible. Normal and line progressive scan modes are supported.
