The PI90LVx019 family, differential line drivers and receivers(transceivers), is similar to IEEE1596.3 SCI and ANSI/TIA/EIA-644L VDS standards(the difference is the driver output current is higher). This modification enables true half-duplex operation with more than one LVDS driver or with two line transmission resistors over a 50 ohm differential transimission line. The logic interface provides maximum flexibility resulting fron four seperate lines that are provided: DIN, DE,RE,and ROUT.PI90LVx019 family also feature flow through which allows easy PCB rounting for short stubs between the bus pins and the connector. The dirver has 10 mA drive capability, allowing it to drive heavily loaded backplanes, with impedance as low as 27 ohms. The dirver translate between TTL levels(single-ended) to low voltage differential signaling levels. PI90LVx019 allows for high-speed operation, while consuming minimal power with reduced EMI. In addtion the differential signaling provides common mode noise rejection of ±1V.PI90LVx019 family has many unique features: The first one is it is designed for double termination applications. The second one is balanced output impedance. The third one is light bus loading which is 5pF typical. The forth one is glitch-free power up/down(driver disabled).The fifth one is bus terminal ESD exceeds 9 kV.The sixth one is industrial temperature operation(-40 to +85),etc.

There are some absolute maximum ratings about PI90LVx019 family.Supply voltage(Vcc) is 3.6 V.Driver input voltage (DIN) is  -0.3 V to (Vcc+0.3 V).Receiver output voltage(ROUT) is  -0.3 V to (Vcc+0.3 V).Bus pin voltage is -0.3 V to +3.9 V.Driver short circuit is continuous.Enable input voltage is -0.3 V to (Vcc+0.3 V). Storage temperature range is -65 to +150.Maximum junction temperature is +260.Otherwise, there are also some recommended operating conidtions about it. Supply voltage is +3.0 V min and +3.6 V max. Receiver input voltage is 0 V min and +2.9 V max. Operating free air temperature is -40 min and +85 max.
