The PI74FCT162Q244T is designed with current limiting resistorsat its outputs to control the output edge rate resulting in lowerground bounce and undershoot. PI74FCT162Q244T features a typicaloutput impedance of 35W, eliminating the need for externalterminating resistors for most bus interface applications. This noisesuppression benefit is designated by the letter "Q" (for quiet) in thepart number.

The PI74FCT162Q244T also features "Bus Hold" which retainsthe input's last state whenever the input goes to high-impedancepreventing "floating" inputs and eliminating the need for pullup/down resistors.
