PE4232

      The PE4232 is a high-isolation Switch which is designed for CATV applications, covering a broad frequency range from near DC up to 1300 MHz. This single-supply SPST switch offers a single-pin CMOS control interface with industry leading CTB performance. It also provides low insertion loss, high isolation and extremely low bias requirements while operating on a single 3-volt supply. In a typical CATV application, the PE4232 provides for a cost effective and manufacturable solution vs. mechanical relays. The PE4232 is manufactured on Peregrine's UltraCMOS™ process, a patented variation of silicon-on-insulator (SOI) technology on a sapphire substrate, offering the performance of GaAs with the economy and integration of conventional CMOS.
     PE4232 has nine unique features. The first one is non-reflective 75 switch. The second one is integrated 0.25 watt terminations. The third one is CTB performance of 100 dBc. The forth one is high isolation: 90 dB at 5 MHz,53 dB at 1000 MHz.The fifth one is Low insertion loss which is  0.5 dB at 5 MHz,0.75 dB at 1000 MHz. The sixth one is high input (IP2: 80 dBm). The seventh one is CMOS/TTL single-pin control. The eighth one is single +3-volt supply operation. The ninth one is extremely low bias which is  33 A @ 3 V.
      There are also some electrical specifications of PE4232 (@ +25 °C (ZS = ZL = 75 ))about it. Operating power is 30/24 dBm max under the condition of On/Off.Input 1 dB Compression2,4 is 30 dB min,33 dB max under the xondition of 1000 MHz.Input IP22 is 80 dBm under the condition of 1000 MHz. Input IP23 is 50 dBm under the condition of 1000 MHz.Switching Time is 2s.
      At last , there are some absolute maximum ratings of PE4232. VDD is -0.3V min and 4.0V max. VI is -0.3V min and 5.5V max uunder the condition of voltage on CTRL input. TST is -65 min and 150 max. Top is -40 min and 85 .
