The PC33993DWB is one member of the 33993 family which is designed as the multiple switch detection interface that has two modes of operation: the sleep mode and normal model. The sleep mode of PC33993DWB provides low quiescent current and enables the wake up features of the device. The normal mode allows program-ming of the device and supplies switch contacts with pull-up or pull down current as PC33993DWB monitors switch change of state. Also PC33993DWB is packaged in the 32-pin Wide Body SOIC, reducing circuit board area.
