The PC33880DW is designed as an eight output hardware configurable high side/low side switch with 8-bit serial input control. Two of the outputs may be controlled directly via microprocessor for PWM applications.

PC33880DW has ten features. (1)Designed to operate from 5.5V to 24.5V. (2)8biit SPI for control and fault reporting, 3.3V/5.0V compatible. (3)Outputs are current limited (0.8A to 2A) to drive incandescent lamps. (4)Output voltage clamp, +45V (low side) and -20V (high side) during inductive switching. (5)Internal reverse battery protection on VPWR. (6)Loss of ground or supply will not energize loads or damage IC. (7)Maximum 5uA IPWR standby current at 13.0V VPWR. (8)Rds(on) of 0.55W at 25°C typical. (9)Short circuit detect and current limit with automatic retry. (10)Independent over temperature protection. Those are all the main features.

(2)Its Vpwr supply voltage would be from -16V to 50V. (3)Its output voltage clamp low side drive would be from 40Vdc to 55Vdc. (4)Its output voltage clamp high side drive would be from -15Vdc to -25Vdc. (5)ts output clamp energy would be 50mJ. (6)Its ESD voltage would be 2000V for human body model and would be 200V for machine model. (7)Its storage temperature range would be from -55°C to +150°C. (8)Its operating case temperature range would be from -40°C to 125°C. (9)Its operating junction temperature range would be from -40°C to +150°C.
