The PBL3739 subscriber line interface circuit(SLIC) is a bipolar intergrated circuit in 75 V technology which performs the telephone line interface function.The programmable battery feed circuit of PBL3739 incorporates a switching regulator to minimize on-chip power dissipation and to maintain line feed charactersitics independent of battery variations.It has many unique features: The first one is ring trip polarity reversal function. The second one is tip-ring open circuit state.The third one is programmable off-hook detector. The forth one is ring and test relay drivers. The fifth one is longitudinal signal suppression.
