PBL3718

PBL3718 is a standard version of the PBL3726 family of mask-programmable,monolothic intergrated speech circuits for use in electronic telephones. PBL3718 is designed for use with a low impedance microphone,transmitting and receving gain of PBL3718 is regulated with line length.Different regulation for various various current feeds can be set by external resistors. Typical current feeds as 48 V 2 X 200 ohm, 48 V 2 X 400 ohm and 36 V 2 X 500 ohm can be handled.Application dependent parameters such as line balance,side tone level, amplication and frenquency response are set by external components.

PBL3718 has many unique features: The first one is minimum number of inexpensive external components,5 capacitors and 11 resistors. The second one is mute function for parallel operation with DTMF-generator. The third one is transmit and receive gain regulation for automatic loop loss compensation. The forth one is extended current range is 5 mA to 130 mA and voltage down to 2 V.The fifth one is balanced receiver output stage. The sixth one is the receiver otuput drive capability is adjustbale,etc. There are some maximum ratings about it. Line voltage is 0 V min and 22 V max.line current(continous) is 0 mA min and 130 mA max. Operating temperature range is -40 min and +70 max.Storage temperature is -55 min and +125 max.
