The P3907 is designed as a low distortion transformer for ADSL CO applications using alcatel chipsets. It is certified to safety standards IEC 950 and UL 60950 for supplementary insulation, 250V working voltage. P3907 is a UL recognized component and is supported by an IEC CB test certificate. The part is completely lead-free and suitable for lead-free and conventional processing. The safety system yields very low transformer parasitics, ensuring that P3907 exhibits excellent frequency response and balance; in combination with its good harmonic distortion performance, P3907 is ideally suited to low cost yet demanding ADSL applications.
P3907 has seven features. (1)Lead-free (Pb-free). (2)Low distortion. (3)IEC 950 and UL 60950 certified. (4)UL recognized component. (5)Supplementary insulation. (6)Surface mount. (7)Industry standard footprint. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of P3907 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its short term isolation voltage 1s would be 2.12kVrms and 3.0kVdc. (2)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 85°C. (3)Its reflow temperature 10 seconds would be 260°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics of P3907 are concluded as follow. (1)Its inductance would be min 387uH and typ 408uH and max 428uH. (2)Its leakage inductance would be max 8uH. (3)Its interwinding capacitance would be max 50pF. (4)Its DC resistance would be max 0.6ohms at 1-4, 2-5 and would be max 0.3ohms at 6-9, 7-10. (5)Its turns ratio would be min 1.96 and typ 2.00 and max 2.04 (5)Its voltage isolation would be min 2.12kVrms and min 3.0kV with conditions of 50Hz and DC. (6)Its functional temperature range would be from -40°C to 85°C. It should be noted that components are 100% tested at 3.25kV DC.
