The P3188TR is designed as a microprofile transformer for applications where high performance and safety isolation to international standards are required in an extremely small case size. Designed specifically as a surface mount device, the P3188 features a 7mm seated height and is vacuum encapsulated and tested to 6500VDC. The P3188TR is compliant with RoHS directive 2002/95/EC, and suitable for lead-free and conventional placement and reflow. P3188TR offers fully reinforced insulation, is ideal for voice telecommunications and low speed data communications, and can be matched to both 600 and complex impedance telephone lines.
P3188TR has eight features. (1)Surface mount. (2)Lead-free (Pb-free). (3)RoHS compliant. (4)7mm seated height. (5)Vacuum encapsulated. (6)IEC 60950 and UL 60950 certified. (7)UL recognized component. (8)Matches directly to 600 lines. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of P3188TR have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its short term isolation voltage 2s would be 4.6kVrms and 6.5kVdc. (2)Its DC current would be 100uA. (3)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 125°C. (4)Its soldering temperature profile peak would be 260°C 10 seconds. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
