P3181TR

The P3181TR is designed as an ultra-low distortion microprofile transformer for applications where high performance and safety isolation to international standards are required in an extremely small case size. Designed specifically as a surface mount device, the P3181TR features a 7mm seated height and is offered in the same package as the now familiar P2781 and P3081. The part is compliant with RoHS directive 2002/95/EC, and suitable for lead-free and conventional placement and reflow. Despite the subminiature size, the performance is superior to that of much larger components. The P3181TR offers reinforced insulation, is ideal for data communications at very high data rates, and can be matched to both 600 and complex impedance telephone lines.

P3181TR has eight features. (1)Surface mount. (2)Lead-free (Pb-free). (3)Ultra low distortion. (4)RoHS compliant. (5)7mm seated height. (6)Vacuum encapsulated. (7)IEC 60950 and UL 60950 certified. (8)UL recognized component. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of P3181TR have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its short term isolation voltage 2s would be 4.6kVrms, 6.5kVdc. (2)Its DC current would be 100uA. (3)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 125°C. (4)Its soldering temperature profile peak would be 260°C 10 seconds. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of P3181TR are concluded as follow. (1)Its frequency response would be max +/-0.2dB at 30Hz to 4KHz. (2)Its return loss would be min 16dB at 200Hz to 4kHz. (3)Its third harmonic distortion would be typ -90dBm at 150Hz -10dBm in line. (4)Its balance would be min 80dB. (5)Its voltage isolation would be min 3.88kVrms and min 5.5kV. (6)Its leakage inductance would be typ 10.8mH. (7)Its shunt inductance would be min 4.7H. (8)Its shunt loss would be min 14kohms. And so on.
