The NE558D is one member of the NE558 family which designed as the quad timers which can be used to produce four independent timing functions. There are 4 timer sections in the 558, so when connected in tandem for sequential timing applications, no coupling capacitors are required. Output current capab-ility of 100mA is provided in both devices. NE558D can be used in (1)sequential timing; (2)time delay generation; (3)precision timing; (4)industrial controls; (5)quad one-shot.
