NE5081

The NE5081 is the receiver chip of a two-chip set designed to opwerate as an FSK modem.The NE5081 are compatible with teh IEEE 802.4 standard for a "Single-channel Phase-Continuous-FSK Token Bus."The specifications given in this data sheet are those guaranteed when the receiver is tuned to the frequencies given in the 802 standard.However,the receiver will work at other frequencies.

Features of the NE5081 are:(1)meets IEEE 802.4 standard; (2)data rates to several megabaud; (3)half or full -duplex operation; (4)low bit rate error.

The absolute maximum ratings of the NE5081 can be summarized as:(1)supply voltage:6V; (2)input voltage range:-0.3 to VCC V; (3)output (data,level detect) max sink current:20mA; (4)maximum power dissipation,Ta=25:1690mW; (5)operating temperature range:0 to 70; (6)storage temperature range:-65 to 150; (7)lead soldering temperature:-65 to 150.
