The NCP5008DMR2 is designed as a high efficiency boost converter operating in current loop control mode to drive light emitting diode. The current mode regulation allows a uniform brightness of the LEDs.
NCP5008DMR2 has twelve features. (1)2.7 to 6.0V input voltage range. (2)Output voltage from Vbat to 15V. (3)3.0uA quiescent supply current. (4)Automatically LEDs current matching. (5)No external sense resistor. (6)Includes dimming function. (7)Programmable or automatic current output mode. (8)Local or remote control facility. (9)Photo transistor sense feedback input.
