The MT8816AE is designed to be fabricated in MITEL's ISOCMOS technology providing low power dissipation and high reliability. The MT8816AE contains a 8 x 16 array of crosspoint switches along with a 7 to 128 line decoder and latch circuits. Any one of the 128 switches can be addressed by selecting the appropriate seven address bits. Typical applications of MT8816AE include key systems, PBX systems, mobile radio, test equipment/instrumentation, analog/digital multiplexers and audio/video switching.
MT8816AE has ten features. (1) Internal control latches and address decoder. (2) Short set-up and hold times. (3) Wide operating voltage: 4.5V to 13.2V. (4) 12Vpp analog signal capability.
