The MAX7574JN is one member of the MAX7574 family which is designed as the uP compatible 8 bit A/D converter that can be used in (1)PCs; (2)servers; (3)office electronics; (4)electronic test equipment; (5)industrial process control. This device converts the temperature measurements to digital form using a high-resolution, sigma-delta, analog-to-digital converter (ADC).

Features of the MAX7574JN are:(1)timeout prevents bus lockup; (2)I2C bus interface; (3)3.0V to 5.5V supply voltage range; (4)250A (typ) operating supply current; (5)3A (typ) shutdown supply current; (6)±2°C (max) from -25°C to +100°C temperature accuracy; (7)MAX, SO packages save space; (8)separate open-drain os output operates as interrupt or comparator/thermostat input; (9)register readback capability; (10)improved LM75 second source.
