The MAX7443/MAX7444 are low-cost, triple-channel ideo reconstruction filters for S-video and CVBS video ignals. These devices are ideal for anti-aliasing and AC smoothing video applications such as set-top oxes, DVD players, hard-disk recorders (HDRs), and ersonal video recorders. These filters MAX7444 operate from a ingle +5V supply. MAX7444 are optimized for NTSC, PAL, nd standard-definition digital TV (SDTV) video systems.
Each channel of MAX7444 consists of a lowpass filter and an djustable-gain output buffer capable of driving two tandard 150 video loads. The output buffers can drive ither an AC or a DC load such that the blanking level oltage after the backmatch resistor is less than 1V. The and C video inputs of MAX7444 are summed to produce the composite ideo output. The MAX7444 offers highfrequency oost to improve picture sharpness. The AX7443 has a maximum flat-frequency esponse.
The MAX7443/MAX7444 are available in a tiny 8-pin thin FN and an 8-pin SO package with exposed pad, and re fully specified over the -40°C to +85°C extended emperature range.
