The JANSPB25 is designed as one kind of rectifier assemblies with single phase bridges, 25A and military approved. This military high current single phase bridges offers the utmost in reliability as required in military system designs. It is assembled with diodes which have been subjected to 100% screening tests.
The JANSPB25 has seven features. (1)Qualified to MIL-S-19500/446. (2)Current rating to 25A. (3)PIV from 100 to 600V. (4)Surge ratings of 150A. (5)Only fused-in-glass diodes used. (6)Controlled avalanche characteristics. (7)Aluminum heat sink case, electrically insulated. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of JANSPB25 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its peak inverse voltage would be 200V. (2)Its maixmum average DC output current would be 25A at Tc=55°C and would be 15A at Tc=100°C. (3)Its non-repetitive sinusoidal surge (8.3ms) at Tc=55°C would be 150A. (4)Its operating temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (5)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (6)Its thermal resistance junction to ambient would be 20°C/W. (7)Its thermal resistance junction to case would be 2.5°C/W. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics of JANSPB25 are concluded as follow. (1)Its PIV per leg would be 200V. Peak forward voltage drop is measured at a pulse width of 8.3ms. (2)Its peak forward voltage drop would be min 0.9V and max 1.4V at 39A peak. (3)Its maximum reverse recovery time would be 2us. (4)Its maximum leakage current per leg @PIV would be 2uA at Tc=25°C and would be 150uA at Tc=100°C. And so on. At present we have not got so much information about this IC and we would try hard to get more information about it. If you have any question or suggestion or want to know more information please contact us for details. Thank you!
