Terminator technology supports on-chip differential termination for source-synchronous LVDS signalling. The differential termination resistors IRG4BC15UD-SPbF are adjacent to the differential input buffers on the device. This placement eliminates stub effects, improving the signal integrity of the serial link. Using on-chip differential termination resistors also saves board space. Figure 5 shows the differential termination connections for Stratix and Stratix GX devices.
The SPS product IRG4BC15UD-SPbF family is specially designed for an off-line SMPS with minimal external components. The SPS consist of high voltage power SenseFET and current mode PWM IC. Included PWM controller features integrated fixed fre- quency oscillator, under voltage lock-out, leading edge blanking, optimized gate turn-on/turn-off driver, thermal shutdown protection, over voltage protection, and tempera- ture compensated precision current sources for loopcompen- sation and fault protection circuitry. Compared to discrete MOSFET and PWM controller or RCC solution, a SPS can reduce total component count, design size, weight and at the same time increase efficiency, productivity, and system reli- ability. The IRG4BC15UD-SPbF has a basic platform well suited for cost-effective design in either a flyback converter or a forward converter. The IRG4BC15UD-SPbF is organized as 65,536 words by 36 bits, fabricated with ISSI's advanced CMOS technology. The IRG4BC15UD-SPbF integrates a 2-bit burst counter, high-speed SRAM core, and high-drive capability outputs into a single monolithic circuit. All synchronous inputs pass through registers controlled by a positive-edge-triggered single clock input.
