Description

Broadcom's IPS500A accelerator adapter is a complete high- performance VPN accelerator designed to accelerate the cryptographic functions of IPsec VPNs, which frees the host CPU. This results in a dramatic improvement to the overall performance of the VPN networks, drastically reducing CPU utilization and enabling overall better network response time.

The IPS500A's PCI interface makes it a perfect solution for all PCI coprocessor based IPsec security applications. Software compatible with other members of the Broadcom CryptoNetX family of VPN accelerators enables quick migration to higher performance solutions.

As with all members of the CryptoNetX family of VPN accelerator cards, the IPS500A features:
