The HCC4518B is designed as dual BCD up-counter. Each consist of two identical, internally synchronous 4-stage counters. The counter stages are D type flip-flops having interchangeable clock and enable lines for incrementing on either the positiv going or negative going transition.
HCC4518B has eight features. (1)Medium speed operation: 8MHz typ, clock frequency at 10V. (2)Positive or begative edge triggering. (3)Synchronous internal carry propagation. (4)Quiescent current specified to 20V for HCC device. (5)5V, 10V and 15V parametric ratings. (6)Inout current of 10nA at 18V and 25°C for HCC device. (7)100% tested for quiescent current. (8)Meets all requirements of JEDEC tentative standard No.13A. Those are all the main features.
