These N-Channel enhancement mode power field effect transistors of FQP9N08 are produced using Fairchild's proprietary, planar stripe, DMOS technology.

This advanced technology of FQP9N08 is especially tailored to minimize on-state resistance, provide superior switching performance, and withstand a high energy pulse in the avalanche and commutation modes. FQP9N08 is well suited for low voltage applications such as automotive, high efficiency switching for DC/DC converters, and DC motor control.
