Description

The CS8427-CSZ is designed as one kind of 96 kHz digital audio interface transceiver device that can be used in wide range of applications such as A/V receivers, CD-R, DVD receivers, multimedia speakers, digital mixing consoles, effects processors, set-top boxes, and computer and automotive audio systems. A low-jitter clock recovery mechanism yields a very clean recovered clock from the incoming AES3 stream.

Features of the CS8427-CSZ are:(1)complete EIAJ CP1201, IEC-60958, AES3, S/PDIF-compatible transceiver; (2)+5.0 V analog supply (VA+); (3)+3.3 V or +5.0 V digital interface (VL+); (4)flexible 3-wire serial digital I/O ports; (5)adjustable sample rate up to 96 khz; (6)low-jitter clock recovery; (7)pin and microcontroller read/write access to channel status and user data; (8)microcontroller and standalone modes; (9)differential cable driver and receiver; (10)on-chip channel status and user data buffer memories permit block reads & writes; (11)OMCK system clock mode; (12)decodes audio CD Q sub-code.
