Description

The AT28C16-15JC is designed as a low-power, high-performance electrically erasable and programmable read only memory with easy to use features. It is a 16K memory organized as 2,048 words by 8 bits. The device is manufactured with Atmel's reliable nonvolatile CMOS technology.

AT28C16-15JC has ten features. (1)Fast read access time is 150ns. (2)Fast byte write is 200s or 1ms. (3)Self-timed byte write cycle. (4)Direct microprocessor control. (5)Low power. (6)High reliability. (7)5V±10% supply. (8)CMOS & TTL compatible inputs and outputs. (9)JEDEC approved byte wide pinout. (10)Commercial and industrial temperature ranges. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of AT28C16-15JC have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its temperature under bias would be from -55°C to 125°C. (2)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 125°C. (3)Its all input voltages (including NC pins) with respect to ground would be from -0.6V to 6.25V. (4)Its all output voltages with respect to ground would be from -0.6V to Vcc+0.6V. (5)Its voltage on OE and A9 with respect to ground would be from -0.6V to 13.5V. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
