The 301CNQ040 is a kind of center tap Schottky rectifier module which features  low reverse leakage at high temperature.The proprietary barrier technology allows for reliable operation up to 175 °C junction temperature.

The absolute maximum ratings of the 301CNQ040 can be summarized as:(1):  max. average forward current(IF(AV)) is 300 A 50% duty cycle @ TC = 81 °C, rectangular wave form; (2): max. peak one cycle non-repetitive surge current (per leg)(IFSM) is 16,000 A under the condition of 5s sine or 3s rect. pulse or is  3200 A under the condition of 10ms sine or 6ms rect. pulse, following any rated load condition and with rated VRRM applied; (3): non-repetitive avalanche energy(per Leg)(EAS) is  202 mJ when  TJ = 25 °C, IAS = 40 Amps, L = 0.34 mH; (4): repetitive avalanche current(per leg)(IAR) is 30 A when current decaying linearly to zero in 1 sec and  frequency limited by TJ max, VA = 1.5 x VR typical.
