The circuit in Figure 9.12 can be used to measure the distance of 10mm~3m. This circuit is made of LM1812 special integrated chip, the external circuit is like the circuit in Figure 9.11-2, the secondary coil of transformer T and the 500pF capacitor of C1 are modulated in the frequency of 50~60kHZ, while L1 is also in it. From the oscilloscope, we can see the maximum echo sensitivity on 1-pin. The step-up transformer t1 can provide with a bias voltage of 150v for the matrix converter.

Figure 9.7 shows a receiver circuit of high sensitivity. The signals, which are received from the microphone UW, is magnified to 1000 times by NE542V. And the output is rectified by VD1 and VD2 into a DC, finally, it takes actions by the VMOS transistor controller. The output current of VMOS transistor can reach 2A. Therefore, large load can be driven, such as the magnetic valve, high-power light and so on.
