The press release of Shanghai International IT & Electronic Fair 2012 is held by Shanghai Foreign Economic & Trade Department, PuDong New Area Government at March 19th. The fair is supported by SEMI, CPCA and MMI. Mr Wang Yu, director of Foreign Economic & Trade department has taken charge of this press release.

Zhou Min hao, the vice chairman of SEIC, has given an overall introduction of this fair. This Shanghai International IT & Electronic Fair 2012 includes six professional exhibitions and almost one hundred forums and seminars. More than 3600 companies will participate in this fair. The scale reaches 165,000 square meters. The six exhibitions are SEMICON China 2012, SOLARCON China 2012, FPD China 2012, Electronica China 2012, Productronica China 2012 , LASER World of PHOTONICS CHINA 2012 and CPCA Show 2012.

"These activities are expected to attract more than 2000 international exhibitors, 50000 professional visitors and 150 central and local government delegations. The number of booth will be more than 4000, and the exhibition area will be up to 8
