UL Class 1 Division 2 Approval Embedded Automation Computers

The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech announces a new series of Class I, Division 2 certified automation computers, the UNO-1100H series, including the UNO-1140FH, UNO-1150GH, UNO-1150GHE, and UNO-1172AH, which all have received the Class I, Division 2 (Group A, B, C, D) certification expanding their uses to hazardous locations.

With a wide operating temperature range (up to 60°C), the UNO-1100H series are fanless DIN-rail mounted automation computers. They feature wide power input range, up to three Ethernet ports, and battery-backup SRAM to ensure reliability and security. The processors of the UNO-1100H series have different speeds and flexible expansion options including PCI-104, PC/104+, Mini PCI and Mini PCIe. With Class I, Division 2 approval, the UNO-1100H series can be used as reliable and robust PC controllers in many applications to meet the requirements of hazardous locations.

Advantech also offers other product series that have passed Class I, Division 2 (Groups A, B, C, D) certification, including Human Machine Interface, Industrial Communication, and Data Acquisition modules. Advantech’s CID2 certified product solutions have been engineered to fulfill the requirements of various hazardous applications such as oil field drilling, pump station monitoring, chemical plants, pharmaceutical factories.oil pipeline monitoring, tank storage monitoring, and fuel station management.
