The TA8552AFN is designed as toshiba bipolar linear integrated circuit silicon monolithic for PLL data synchronizer for DAT streamer applications.
It has five features. (1)It incorporates edge detector, data synchronizer and latch for data separator. (2)The data synchronizer is available to correspond to 7% variation of data transfer rate. (3)By employing full differential signal processing in PLL loop, it eliminates the influence of external noise. (4)Operating power supply voltage range which would be from 4.5V to 5.5V. (5)Small package SSOP30-P-300-0.65. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be 7V. (2)Its input voltage would be from -0.3V to Vcc+0.3V. (3)Its output voltage would be from -0.3V to Vcc+0.3V. (4)Its storage temperature range would be from -55°C to 150°C. (5)Its supply current would be max 65mA. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its high level input voltage TTL would be min 2.0V. (2)Its low level input ovltage TTL would be max 0.4V. (3)Its high level input current TTL would be max 20uA. (4)Its low level input current TTL would be max -360uA. (5)Its high level input voltage ECL would be min Vcc-1.0V. (6)Its low level input voltage ECL would be max Vcc-1.5V. (7)Its high level input current would be max 2.0mA. (8)Its low level input current would be max 1.6mA. (9)Its high level output voltage would be min VTTLO-0.2V and max VTTLO+0.2V. (10)Its low level output voltage would be max 1.0V. (11)Its output rise time would be max 5ns. (12)Its output fall time would be max 5ns. (13)Its input voltage range to VTTLO terminal would be min 2.7V and max 3.3V. And so on.
