The QG82915GV SL8AU is designed as one member of the intel 915G / 915GV / 915GL / 915P / 915PL / 910GL express chipset family.
It has many features and some are listed here about its system memory. (1) one or two 64-bit wide DDR/DDR2 SDRAM data channels (82915PL and 82910GL supports DDR 400 or DDR 333, 1 DIMM, 2 channels only) (82915PL supports DDR only). (2) bandwidth up to 8.5 GB/s (DDR/DDR2 533) in dual-channel interleaved mode. (3) Non-ECC memory only. (4) 256-Mb, 512-Mb and 1-Gb DDR/DDR2 technologies. (5) Only x8, x16, DDR/DDR2 devices with four banks and also supports eight bank, 1-Gbit DDR2 devices. (6) Opportunistic refresh. (7) Up to 64 simultaneously open pages (four ranks of eight bank devices 2 channels). (8) SPD (serial presence detect) scheme for DIMM detection support. (9) Suspend-to-RAM support using CKE. (10) Supports configurations defined in the JEDEC DDR/DDR2 DIMM specification only. That are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its storage temperature would be min -55°C and max 150°C. (2) Its 1.5V core supply voltage with respect to Vss would be min -0.3V and max 1.65V. (3) Its 1.2V system Bus Input Voltage with respect to Vss would be min -0.3V and 1.65V. (4) Its 1.5V host PLL analog supply voltage with respect to Vss would be min -0.3V and max 1.65V. (5) Its 2.6V DDR system memory supply voltage with respect to Vss would be min -0.3V and max 4.0V. (6) Its 1.5V system memory PLL analog supply voltage with respect to Vss would be min -0.3V and max 1.65V. (7) Its 1.8V DDR2 system memory supply voltage with respect to Vss would be min -0.3V and max 4.0V. And so on.
