MC145436AP General Description

The MC145436AP is one member of the MC145436 family which designed as one kind oflow-power dual tone multiple frequency receiver.It containing the filter and decoder for detection of a pair of tones conforming to the DTMF standard with outputs in hexadecimal. Switched capacitor filter technology is used together with digital circuitry for the timing control and output circuits.Also it provides excellent power line noise and dial tone rejection and is suitable for applications in central office equipment, PABX, and keyphone systems, remote control equipment and consumer telephony products.

Features of the MC145436AP are:(1)single +5 V power supply;(2)detects all 16 standard digits;(3)uses inexpensive 3.58 MHz crystal;(4)provides guard time controls to improve speech immunity;(5)output in 4-bit hexadecimal code;(6)built-in 60 Hz and dial tone rejection;(7)pin compatible with SSI204,MC145436, and MC14LC5436;(8)functional and applicational compatible with MC145436 and MC14LC5436.
