The M51406FP is a semiconductor combined circuit with video signal processing function best ideal to NTDC color LCD TV. This IC outputs optimum RGB signals for driving an LCD from luminance and color signals.
Features of M51406FP are: (1)the 2 power supply system is employed for a larger output amplitude, and a low pow er dissipation of 210mW is fealized; (2)a single chip permits all video signal processings; (3)the on-screen signal in put switch applicable to external analog input signals is built in this IC; (4)video AGC is incorporated to increase the contrast; (5)the IC contains multiple control functions, such as color contrast control, picture quality control, brightn ess control, driver circuit bias control and Y control.
The absolute maximum ratings and electrical characteristics of the M51406FP can be summarized as:(1)supply volta ge: 14V; (2)input voltage: 0V to Vcc+0.3V; (3)video input amplitude: 2Vp-p; (4)chrome input amplitude: 0.5Vp-p; (5)sync separation output voltage: Vcc+0.5V; (6)sync separation output current: 2.5mA; (7)common output load curre nt:-3mA to 3mA; (8)R.G.B output load current:-3mA to 3mA; (9)power dissipation: 550mW. Electrical characteristics:(1)circuit current(positive): 23mA min, 32mA typ and 43mA max; (2)sync separation L voltage(I29=1mA): 0.1V min, 0.5V typ and 0.9V max; (3)R output voltage(I40=2mA, V26=4V):-7.2V min,-6.2V typ and-5.2V max, etc
