The FMM5107VD is an MMIC downconverter for use in all FSS and DBS applications. It consists of a low noise mixer and IF amplifier. It is designed to operate with the FMM5201ML and FMM5202ML low phase noise oscillator MMICs. There are some features as follows. First is intergrated monolithic downconverter. The second is small size SMT package. Then is single supply voltage. The last one is high reliability.
What comes next is about the absolute maximum ratings. The operating temperature range is from -40 to +85. The storage temperature is from -55 to +125. The VDD (supply voltage) is 8 V.
The following is about the electrical characteristics (Ambient Temperature Ta=25). The fRF (usable RF frequency range) is from 10.7 to 12.75 GHz. The fLO (usable LO frequency range) is from 9.75 to 11.5 GHz. The fIF (usable IF frequency range) is from 950 to 2150 MHz. Then is some parameters under the condition of VDD=6 V, fLO=10.6 Ghz, PLO=+3 dBm, fIF=950 to 2050 MHz. The minimum GC (conversion gain) is 32 dB, the typical is 35 dB and the maximum is 40 dB. The typical NF (noise figure) is 7.5 dB and the maximum is 9.0 dB. The typical G (gain flatness) is 2.0 dB and the maximum is 4.0 dB. The typical IDD (supply current) is 60 mA and the maximum is 80 mA. The typical RFRL (RF return loss (ZO=50)) is 8 dB. The typical IFRL (RF return loss (ZO=75)) is 8 dB. The typical OIP3 (output third order IP) is 16.5 dBm. The typical LO-RF (LO-RF leakage) and LO-IF (LO-IF leakage) are both is -25 dBm.
