The AS359-62 has been designed for use where extremly high linearity and low insertion loss are required.It can be controlled with positive, negative or a combination of both voltage. Some standard implementations include antenna changeover,T/R and diversity siwtching over a watts. The AS359-62 switch can be used in many analog and digital wireless communications systems including celluar,GSM and DECT applications.It has six unique features: The first one is high lineairty. The second one is low loss. The third one is low DC power consumption. The forth one is both positive and/or negative 3 to 10 V control voltages. The fifth one is extremly low cost. The sixth one is small SSOF8 package.
There are some operating charateristics at 25.Impedance is 50 ohms nominal.Switching charactersitics:RISE,FALL (10/90% or 90/10%)RF) is 60 ns typ. ON,OFF(50%CTL to 90/10%RF) is 100 ns typ.Video feedthru is 50 mV typ.Control voltage: Low(0) is -0.2 V min and 0.2 V max. High(1) is Vc-0.2 V min and Vc+0.2 V max. Insertion loss is 0.3 dB typ and 0.4 dB max(DC-500 MHz) or 0.4 dB typ and 0.6 dB max(500 MHz to 1000 MHz) or 1.0 dB typ and 1.2 dB max(1000 MHz to 2000 MHz).Isolation is 23 dB typ and 20 dB min (DC-500 MHz) or 17 dB typ and 15 db min(500 MHz to 1000 Mhz) or 10 dB typ and 8 dB min(1000 MHz to 2000 MHz).VSWR is 1.4:1 max(DC-1000 MHz) or 1.8:1 max(1000 MHz to 2000 MHz).
