The 74ALVC16245GX is a type of low voltage 16-bit bidirectional transceiver, which includes sixteen non-inverting bidirectional buffers with 3-STATE outputs. The device is byte controlled. Each byte departs 3-STATE control inputs which is able to be shorted together for full 16-bit operation. The T/R inputs decide the direction of data flow through the device.
