The ZL series is designed as miniature aluminum electrolytic capacitors with 105°C high ripple current and low impedance.

ZL series has two features. (1)Enable high ripple current by a reduction of impedance at high frequency range. (2)Load life would be 105°C 1000 to 5000 hours. That are all the main features.

Some important specifications of ZL series have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its category temperature range would be from -40°C to +105°C. (2)Its rated voltage range would be from 6.3 to 100Vdc. (3)Its capacitance tolerance would be +/-20% (20°C, 120Hz). (4)Its leakage current max would be I=0.01CV or 3uA whichever is greater (after 2 minutes). I means leakage current (uA). C means rated capacitance (uF). V means rated voltage (V). (5)Its dissipation factor would be 0.22 at rated voltage 6.3V and 0.19 at 10V and 0.16 at 16V and 0.14 at 25V and 0.12 at 35V and 0.10 at 50V and 0.09 at 63V and 0.08 at 100V. When rated capacitance is over 1000uF, it shall be added 0.02 to the listed value with increase of every 1000uF. (6)Its low temperature stability impedance ratio max would be 2 for Z(-25°C) /Z(20°C) and would be 3 for Z(-40°C) /Z(20°C).

Also some other characteristics of ZL series are concluded as follow. (1)For rated voltage 6.3V and rated capacitance 39uF its size would be 4 x 7 (D x L, mm). (2)Its rated ripply current would be 130mA. (3)Its impedance would be max 0.85 at 20°C, 100KHz and would be 2.6 at -10°C, 100KHz. (4)Also for rated voltage 6.3V and rated capacitance 68uF its size would be 5 x 7 (D x L, mm). (5)Its rated ripply current would be 210mA. (6)Its impedance would be max 0.43 at 20°C, 100KHz and would be 1.3 at -10°C, 100KHz. (7)Also for rated voltage 6.3V and rated capacitance 150uF its size would be 6.3 x 7 (D x L, mm). (8)Its rated ripply current would be 300mA. (9)Its impedance would be max 0.23 at 20°C, 100KHz and would be 0.69 at -10°C, 100KHz. And so on.
