      The Z86C05 microcontroller is deisgned as member of the Z8 MCU family, which offer easy software/handware system expansion.For applications demanding powerful I/O capabilities, Z86C05 is dedicated inpur and output lines are grouped into three ports, and are configurable under software control to provide timing, status signals, or parallel I/O.
      Z86C05 has many features.The first one is that it would have 18-pin DIP and SOIC packages.The second one is that it would have 3.0V to 5.5V operating range.The third one is 14 input /output lines.The next one is six vectored, prioritized interrupts from six different sources.The next one is two on-board comparators.The next one is its ROM mask options contains low noise, ROM protect, ayto latch, permanent watch-dog timer, RC oscillator, 32kHz operation.The next one is two programmable 8-bit counter/timers, each with 6-bit programmable prescaler.The next one is power-on reset timer.The next one is on-chip oscillator that accepts RC, crystal, ceramic resonance, LC, or external clock drive.The next one is clock-free WDT reset.The next one is low-power consumption.The next one is fourteen digital inputs at CMOS levels; schmitt-triggered.The next one is software enabled watch-dog timer.The next one is programmable iterrupt polarity.The next one is two standby modes: STOP and HALT.The next one is low voltage protection.
