Z8601

The Z8601 has 9 features.The first one is complete microcomputer,2K bytes of ROM,128 bytes of RAM,32 I/O lines,and up to 62K bytes addressable external space each for program and data menory.The second one is 144-byte register file,including 124 general purpose registers,four I/O port registers,and 16 status and control registers.The third one is average instruction execution time of 1.5s,maximum of 1 s.The fourth one is vectored,priority interrupts for I/O,counter/times,and UART.The fifth one is full-duplex UART and two programmable 8-bit counter/times,each with a 6-bit programmable prescaler.The sixth one is register pointer so that short,fast instructions can access any of nine working register groups in 1 s.The seventh one is on-chip oscillator which accepts crystal or external clock drive.The eighth one is single +5V power supply all pin TTL compatible.The ninth one is 12.5MHz.

The Z8601 has some absolute maximum ratings.The voltage on all pins with respect to GND is -0.3 V to +7.0 V.The operating ambient temperature is see ordering information.The storage temperature is -65 to +150.
