YSS243

The YSS243 (AC3F) is a Dolby AC-3 5.1 channel full decoder LSI which decodes AC-3 data stream in IEC958 interface and outputs PCM data.There are some features as follows.First, it supports every input/output channel mode:1 to 5.1 ch and supports every downmixing mode.Secondly, it supports every bit rate:32 kbps to 64 kbps.Besides,it supports AC-3 karaoke mode.Furthermore,it supports 3 input/output data interface formats.The fifth is built in input buffer and one external 256K bit SRAM for output buffer.The sixth is built in PLL clock multiplier circuit and capable of choosing input clock frequency from 2.5 M to 40 MHz.The seventh one is that it suppots time delay control of center and surround, user original mode as well as Dotby-recommended 4 compression modes.The eighth is capable of reading AC-3 bitstream information through microprocessor interface.At last, AC-3 decode latency is 3 audio block (768 samples) constant.
