YMS164-01

The YMS164-01 is designed as one kind of standard character modules.

Some absolute maximum ratings of YMS164-01 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage logic would be min -0.3V and max 7.0V. (2)Its supply voltage driver would be min -0.3V and max 13.5V. (3)Its input voltage would be min -0.3V and max Vcc+0.3V. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of YMS164-01 are concluded as follow. (1)Its supply voltage logic would be min 4.5V and typ 5.0V and max 5.5V. (2)Its supply current logic would be typ 0.8mA and max 2.0mA with test conditions of Vdd=5V. (3)Its input voltage high would be min 2.2V and max Vcc. (4)Its input voltage low would be min -0.3V and max 0.6V. (5)Its output voltage high level would be min 2.4V with conditions of Ioh=0.2mA. (6)Its output voltage low level would be max 0.4V with test conditions of Iol=1.2mA. (7)Its LCD operating voltage would be min 4.5V and typ 4.7V and max 5.0V with test conditions of Vdd=5V and Ta=25°C. (8)Its supply coltage LCD drive would be typ 1.0mA and max 1.5mA with test condtions of Vdd=5V and Ta=25°C.

And some mechanical data of YMS164-01 are concluded as follow. (1)Its module size (WXHXT) would be 87.0x60.0x9.0 (LED:14.0) mm. (2)Its viewing area (WXH) would be 61.8x25.2 mm. (3)Its character font (WXH) would e 5x7 with cursor dots. (4)Character size (WXH) would be 2.95x4.75 mm. (5)Its character pitch (WXH) would be 3.55x5.35 mm. (6)Its dot size (WXH) would be 0.55x0.55 mm.
