The MPX5700A is designed as one kind of synthesizer chip that is developed specially for note PC, PCMCIA card. This device is cpmpatible with YMF262 which is de facto standard in sound card market. Special functions (power down mode, 3.3 V power supply and etc.) are newly featured.
