The YGV613 is designed as the built-in PLL circuit which allow to superimpose the images outputted by the device over a external video signals easier. Since this device has a high speed drawing function and character draming function and is able to specify vertical and horizontal size of the screen optionally, it is applicable to controlling display units such as a wide screen TV and liquid crystal displays.
Features of the YGV613 are:(1)one screen color and monochrome STN liquid crystal display panels from 128 x 128 to 640 x 240 dots can be driven;(2)a two screen monochrome STN liquid crystal display panel of up to 640 x 480 dots can be driven;(3)the sprite plane can be used as a crosshair line cursor;(4)register and various I/O ports are mapped on the 16 byte I/O space;(5)one unit of 4 M or 16 M DRAM with 16 bit configuration can be connected;(6)the built-in FIFO for display data has reduced overhead at draw data access;(7)CMOS and 5 V single power supply;(8)144 pin plastic SQFP.
