XRT7298W

The XRT7298W is designed as one kind of fully integrated PCM line driver IC intended for DS3 or E3 applications. This device can also be used for transmitting SONET STS-1 signals over coaxial cable. The IC is designed to complement either XRT7295 DS3/SONET STS-1 or XRT7295E E3 integrated line receivers. This device contains an "on-chip" transmit clock duty cycle correction circuit. This circuit guarantees that the XRT7298 device will generate pulses, that will meet the various "pulse-template" requirements.

Features of the XRT7298W are:(1)fully integrated transmit interface for DS3/STS-1 or E3;(2)integrated pulse shaping circuit;(3)complicance with compatibility bulletin 119;(4)compliance with CCITT recommendations G.703 & G.824;(5)buily-in B3ZS/HDB3 encoder and decoder;(6)remote and local loopback functions;(7)single 5 V power supply;(8)contains transmit clock duty cycle correction circuit on chip. And it can be used in digital cross connect systems, CSU / DSU equipment, PCM test equipment and fiber optic terminals applications.
