Description

Description

The XRD5408 is a low power, voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) for +5V power supply operation. The part draws only 50 micro Amps of supply current and is available in both an 8-lead PDIP and SOIC package.

The XRD5408 has a three wire serial port with an output allowing the user to daisy chain several of them together. The serial port will support both MicrowireTM, SPITM and QSPITM standards.

The output of the XRD5408 is set at a gain of +2 and is capable of swinging rail-to-rail. The output short circuit is 12mA typical.
