XR16V2751IM

The XR16V2751IM is designed as a high performance dual universal asynchronous receiver and transmitter (UART) with 64 byte TX and RX FIFOs. The device operates from 2.25 to 3.6 volts with 5 volt tolerant inputs and is pin-to-pin compatible to exar's XR16L2751. Typical applications include portable appliances, telecommunication network routers, ethernet network routers, cellular data devices and factory automation and process controls.

XR16V2751IM has eight features. (1)2.25 to 3.6 volt operation. (2)5 volt tolerant inputs. (3)Pin-to-pin compatible to exar's XR16L2751 in the 48-TQFP package. (4)Two independent UART channels. (5)Powersave feature reduces sleep current to 15A. (6)Device identification and revision. (7)Crystal oscillator (up to 32MHz) or external clock (up to 64MHz) input. (8)48-TQFP packages. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of XR16V2751IM have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its power supply range would be 7 volts. (2)Its voltage at any pin would be from GND-0.3V to 7V. (3)Its operating temperature range would be from -40°C to +85°C. (4)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to +150°C. (5)Its package dissipation would be 500mW. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
