WP-MKX2010

The WP-MKX2010 radio transceiver module wasdesigned to provide reliable wireless operation atmoderate data rates for use throughout the world. Itsunique features of narrower RF channel bandwidthsand hence high interference rejection capability atSAW module prices make the X2010 the ideal choicefor next generation applications.

Available for operation at the major frequencyallocations world-wide in the same package, thesemodules have been designed to provide a reliablewire free link for the next century, accounting for theincreased traffic from other legal users of the radiospectrum.

The transmitter section uses a PLL design thatutilises a highly stable and accurate referencecrystal oscillator. This results in a RF transmissiontightly controlled in its frequency spread and overits operating temperature range. This is exploited inthe receiver design.

The receiver section WP-MKX2010 uses a single conversionsuper-het design, again using PLL technology.Hence narrower bandwidth RF filters are utilisedwhich result in superior rejection of interference aswell as providing good receiver sensitivity andhence range.
