The WM2633 is a 12-bit voltage output, resistor string, digitalto-analogue converter. A hardware controlled power down modeis provided that reduces current consumption to 10nA. TheWM2633 features an internal programmable voltage referencesimplifying overall system design. A reference voltage may alsobe supplied externally.
The WM2633 has an 8-bit microcontroller compatible parallelinterface. The eight data LSBs, the four data MSBs, and the fivecontrol bits are written using three different addresses.
Excellent performance is delivered with a typical DNL of 0.3LSBs and a typical INL of 1.2 LSBs. The output stage isbuffered by a x2 gain near rail-to-rail amplifier, which features aClass A output stage (slow mode, Class AB). The settling timeof the DAC is software or pin programmable to allow thedesigner to optimise speed versus power dissipation.
The WM2633 is available in a 20-pin TSSOP package.Commercial temperature (0° to 70°C) and Industrialtemperature (-40° to 85°C) variants are supported.
